Gary Wright Dream Weaver
In this extremely profound melody, the Fantasy Weaver invigorates the vocalist and associates him to a higher cognizance. On Gary Wright's true site, he made sense of:
"In 1972, my companion George Harrison welcomed me to go with him out traveling to India. A couple of days before we left, he provided me with a duplicate of the book Self-portrayal of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda. Obviously the book roused me profoundly, and I turned out to be completely entranced with Indian culture and reasoning. My outing was an encounter I will always remember. During the mid '70s while perusing a greater amount of the compositions of Paramahansa Yogananda, I went over a sonnet called Good! Good! Good!. One of the lines in the sonnet alluded to the possibility of the psyche winding around dreams and the idea promptly seemed obvious me, weaver of dreams... Dream Weaver. I recorded it in my diary of melody titles and disregarded it. A while passed, and one end of the week, while in the English open country, I got my diary and ran over the title 'Dream Weaver.' Feeling propelled, I got my acoustic guitar and started composition. The melody was done in 60 minutes. The verses and music appeared to have streamed out of me as though composed by a concealed source. After the record was delivered and became fruitful many individuals asked me what the tune implied. I truly didn't know myself and would answer 'it was about a sort of imagination experience... a Fantasy Weaver train taking you through the universe.' However I was perpetually discontent with that clarification, and as years went by I started to ponder what the tune really implied and afterward it came to me: 'Dream Weaver, I accept you can help me through the night...' was a melody about somebody with boundless empathy and love bringing us during that time of our preliminaries and languishing. As a matter of fact, God Himself ."
