History of Trampolining in the Olympics
While trampolining has been a popular recreational activity for decades, it was relatively recently introduced as an Olympic sport. It made its Olympic debut at the 2000 Sydney Games. Before that, it had been a part of world championships since 1964.
How Olympic Trampolining Works
Trampolining is an individual sport where athletes perform various flips, twists, and moves. These moves are judged based on difficulty, execution, horizontal displacement, and flight time. Judges score the athletes based on these factors, and the final score determines the winner.
Trampolining at the 2024 Olympics
